The producers of ‘American Idol’ “apologized,” it turns out, for Tyler’s hinting to a contestant with the last name of Muck that his name rhymed with a certain profane word. Some have interpreted the apology as satire aimed at those who complained about it last week.
The black card apology read: “American Idol would like to apologize for last week’s outrageous behavior by Steven Tyler. Mr. Tyler has been warned and assures us it will never happen again.”
