In the video interview, Shawn Stockman, of Boyz II Men, sits down to discuss the foursome’s amazing history, the lack of good R&B groups today, a possible reunion with Michael McCary and that old school “beef” with Jodeci. It’s hard to believe the legendary Boyz II Men released their debut album, ‘Cooleyhighharmony,’ 20 years ago. Signed to Motown, the Philly boys ushered in a new wave of melodic R&B that was a throwback to the ’60s, but still fresh and original. With classic No. 1 hits like ‘End of the Road,’ ‘I’ll Make Love to You’ and ‘On Bended Knee,’ Shawn Stockman, Michael McCary, Wanya Morris and Nate Morris would rule the ’90s — the four-time Grammy winners were named by Billboard magazine as the most successful musical group of the ’90s.
