Spotted in New York City this week, CiCi reportedly confirmed the speculation is true.

“Just interviewed Ciara and she admitted that she and Amare are indeed a couple. She was very shy about it and said, ‘you know I don’t talk about my personal life,’ but when I pushed she shook her head laughed and said yes they are a couple. She added that this is a very happy time in her life and that she is really enjoying herself! She and Amare were snapped at a party after the Met Gala last night.” (Dr. Jays)

Ciara and Stoudemire were seen on multiple occasions around the Big Apple this week.

Ciara and NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire go public for the second night in a row during The Candie’s Foundation 10th Anniversary of The Event To Prevent held Tuesday at Cipriani 42nd Street in NYC. It’s getting serious! On Monday, the singer, 25, and the New York Knicks player, 28, make the scene at the Costume Institute Gala Benefit Celebrating Alexander McQueen’s Savage Beauty in NYC. (OK! Earlier this year, reports claimed Ciara and 50 Cent’s relationshipended over his publicized connection to late night talk show hostChelsea Handler.

It won’t be a lonely Valentine’s Day for Ciara this year. The 25-year-old singer has taken a page out of pal Kim Kardashian’s playbook and is dating a new NBA baller beau. So who’s the guy? And what does E! funnygal Chelsea Handler have to do with the budding romance? Ciara has recently begun seeing 28-year-old New York Knicks star Amar’e Stoudemire. “They’re keeping it on the DL, but they are dating,” a source tells us of the couple, who just recently took their friendship to the next level about a month ago. According to our source, Ciara, who has been dating rapper 50 Cent on and off for much of last year, officially cut off contact with the hip-hop star when he began hanging out with Handler. “When that Chelsea stuff started, she pulled away from him,” adds the source. Last month, 50 downplayed a recent Twitter dispute with CiCi and called her a friend.

“[laughs] Like in everything else I mentioned, isn’t it always me being attacked first? I could care less about trying to attack someone or bring them down in any way. I look at those scenarios like they’re actually trying to attack me. See, even if I have to assume that US Weekly said what you say. I’m sure she didn’t say that. She’s a friend. She’s been a friend. You know? And it’s like, I don’t know what to expect of people. I’ve been surprised a lot. You think you know what to expect out of people but…. I don’t know how I respond to that without being the bad guy.” (VIBE)
