Chris Brown and Rihanna have been named as some of the performers to take part in the ‘Today Show’ Toyota Concert Series.

Although the former lovebirds will not take the stage together, both will head over to Manhattan’s Rockefeller Plaza to rock the crowd during the concert series. Rihanna will kick-off the four-month extravaganza with a performance on May 27, just weeks before embarking on her national Loud tour. This year marks the fourth time that the Bajan beauty has heated up the stage for the summer series.

Brown on the other hand hasn’t performed on the ‘Today Show’ in three years and is slated to appear July 15. Although his set list hasn’t been revealed, the 22-year-old will likely perform music off his ‘F.A.M.E.’ album, which has sold over 500,000 copies since its release back in March.

This summer, the ‘Today Show’ is continuing its reputation for bringing some of music’s biggest stars to its outside stage. Bruno Mars, Cee Lo Green, Maroon 5 and Pitbull with special guest T-Pain and Ne-Yo are just some of the names on the bill. The Toyota Concert Series takes place every Friday on the top rated morning show, and will wrap up September 2 with Lenny Kravitz.
