No joke: Kenan Thompson is getting married.
The “Saturday Night Live” star, 33, is engaged to girlfriend Christina Evangeline, his rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com.
Thompson launched his career in the ’90s when he starred on Nickelodeon’s sketch comedy show “All That,” followed by his own spinoff show, “Kenan & Kel,” with longtime friend Kel Mitchell. He then joined the cast of “SNL” in 2003, becoming the first member to be born after the show’s 1975 premiere.
Following news of the couple’s engagement, Evangeline took to Twitter and gushed about Thompson.
“He’s my best friend,” wrote Evangeline, who’s previously appeared in Maxim magazine. “I could only be so lucky.”
