AKRON, Ohio – Six people have been shot at an off-campus party near the University of Akron.
The Akron Police department says the shooting happened sometime between midnight and 1 a.m. Saturday at an off-campus fraternity house on Sherman Street.
Police are still investigating if any students were involved, but it appears residents from Cleveland and Columbus were also in attendance of the party.
The victims were transported to Akron City Hospital and their conditions are unknown at this time.
Police say six other people have been arrested and charged wth aggravated rioting.
