If you were in Bedford Thursday evening they were screaming don’t burn your bra. That’s because they wanted you to recycle it. Metrohealth teamed up with bra recycling agency.
Get this every part of the brassiere can be recycled. From the under wire to it’s padding which has actually been used for red carpets at movie premieres.
More than 800 bras were stuffed in a bug and breast cancer survivor Alicia Miranda was donated her bras after having a double mastectomy back in March.
“It makes me feel good because I know I’m giving back to something that means something to me and to so many people,” said Alicia Miranda.
