SOLON, Ohio – Solon police were called to the Arby’s restaurant on SOM Center Road last week after someone took hundreds of dollars worth of meat.

It was reported by the store’s manager just before 10 a.m. on Nov. 25.

According to the police report, the burglar broke into the rear freezer, which is about 6 feet away from the building. The freezer building does not have an alarm and the lock was cut off the door, police said.

The burglar got away with 25 pounds of uncooked corned beef valued at $77; two cases of uncooked beef valued at $177 and 25 pounds of uncooked chicken valued at $57.

The police report also said that loaves of bread and Angus beef were stolen. The stolen goods were valued at $311.

Police do not have any suspects.
