1. Eyeball It!
Eye contact is everything. It sets trust and chemistry right off the bat. If he’s looking off to the side, he’s either nervous, distracted or just flat-out lying — trust your gut to tell the difference. Always check his eyes for the full-court flirt.

2. Wing It
Habit or not, when arms are crossed, it’s a telltale sign that says he’s not willing to let someone in. On the flipside, when his hands are rested around his neck or head, it lets you know that he’s comfortable around you.
If his hands wind up on his hips, they’re probably not going wind up on you. He’s impatient… and that’s your cue to bolt!

3. Footsies
Strangely, feet say a lot on a date. If your date is tapping his feet, he’s either uncomfortable or intimidated. If you feel a subtle but purposeful graze under the table, he’s likely into you!
If his feet are moving around a lot, slow down… lighten the subject, and see if he slows down too.
4. Can’t Touch This
Personal space is a touchy one. If he’s hanging at a distance, it tells you he’s unsure or not feeling it. Skooch forward and note his reaction; if he doesn’t take you up on it and moves back, take the hint. If he’s receptive and moves in to you, there’s probably a second date in the works!
5. So Cocky!
You can always tell how engaged he is by the way he moves his head. A tilted head can be a sign of sympathy, but if mixed in with a smile, it usually means he’sflirting! If he lowers his head during a conversation, that may mean he’s hiding something, or perhaps “he’s just not that into you.”
The more tense his eyes, mouth, and eyebrows get, the more likely he’s challenging you to see what you have to offer!
6. Copy That!
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so if your date is mirroring you, he’s genuinely interested. If you can’t decide, change your body position and see if he adjusts his. If he does, it’s a slam dunk! Subtlety is key.
