This would’ve been absolutely crazy…if it were true! But despite a report claiming guests were already staying in the fourth-floor hotel room where Whitney Houston was found dead, BMS has confirmed that, to the contrary, the suite remains empty.
“It was not rented, it is not rented and it will not be rented in the foreseeable future,” a spokesperson for the Beverly Hilton said of the already infamous room 434.
The spokesperson went on to say that TMZ, which ran the initial report and even claimed that there was currently a party staying in the room, never contacted the hotel to confirm the accuracy of their claim. SMDH!
Meanwhile, Houston’s family is doing their best to work through the tragedy, with Bobby Brown releasing a statement earlier today saying, “We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina. She’s dealing with the tragedy of her mother’s death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye. We ask that our privacy be respected.”
Whitney’s funeral will be held at Newark’s New Hope Baptist Church on Saturday at noon.
