Charlize Theron is a new mom after adopting a baby.
“Charlize Theron has adopted a child. She is the proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson,” says a rep for the actress.
A source close to the never-married Theron says Jackson is African American and was born in the US.
“She has always wanted to be a mom,” the source says. “She is glad to be able to do it on her own now and is so happy to be a mom.”
Charlize Theron grew up on a farm outside Benoni, South Africa, as the only child.
