Kids have been marching but they have also become very creative at keeping this story going. Above in memory of Trayvon Martin students of C.H. Terrell Academy in Augusta Georgia re-create the murder scene of Trayvon using skittles to illustrate chalk at the murder scene.
It has reached the sports world where Miami Heat players have offered support to the teenager’s family.
Taking to his Facebook page, Heat star Dwyane Wade posted a photo of himself in a hoodie and put out via Twitter “#hoodies #stereotype #trayvonmartin.”
Also, teammate LeBron James showed a photo on Twitter of Heat players also wearing hooded sweatshirts and added “#WeAreTrayvonMartin #Hoodies #Stereotyped #WeWantJustice.”
Martin, 17, was shot on Feb. 26 in Sanford, Fla., by a Neighborhood Watch captain who has not been charged and claimed he acted in self-defense. The case has raised the issue with Florida’s so-called “Stand Your Ground Law.”
Lebron James also chose to remember Martin with a message on his shoe as the Heat faced the Detroit Pistons on Friday.

As a white mother of a white son, I do not pretend to know what you must be going through right now. I respect and honor our differences. My neighbors and I have taken these pictures because we want you to know that you are not alone. We have all wept for your son. We dress our children in hoodies because we want them to grow up to share the burden we feel. We want them to know that if a child or a group of children are not safe in this world then we are all responsible. We want them to know that today, at this moment, we are all Trayvon.
