CLEVELAND – Cleveland Police and the F.B.I. have issued an Amber Alert for a missing 4-year-old boy on the city’s west side.

Police say the missing boy is Raevon Ruffin. He’s described as a black male, 3 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a grey coat, blue and grey pants and red and black tennis shoes.

Police learned of Raevon Ruffin’s missing status when his mother noticed that he was not with the group of children that he was outside playing with. A search of the neighborhood was conducted and failed to turn up any signs of Ruffin. He was last seen Monday night just before 7:30 p.m. by his mother.

Police think Raevon may be with Isaiah Taylor, 19, a black male with a light complexion. Police said Taylor lives in the 1300 block of 95th Street and was found to be missing at the same time as the young boy. Police have tried to locate Taylor but can’t.

Police and FBI searched the community overnight Monday.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Raevon Ruffin is asked to call the Cleveland Division Police First District Detective Bureau by phoning 216.623.5118 or 216.623.5100.
