CLEVELAND – At least one flight, scheduled out of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, has been canceled due to the severe storms in Texas.

Those storms caused extensive damage throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area Tuesday night. A number of tornado touchdowns are suspected. The National Weather Service will be in the area Wednesday to survey the damage.

American Airlines flight 1043 from Cleveland to Dallas-Fort Worth Airport has been canceled. That was scheduled to depart at 1:15 p.m. There could be a number of other delays and cancelations as the day progresses. Check with the airport first, if you plan on traveling out west today.
