Crooner Neil Sedaka recruited Alicia Keys, Aretha Franklin and Dionne Warwick to sing a special song for Clive Davis at the music mogul’s 80th birthday party this week.

The Sony Music boss reached the milestone on Wednesday, April 4, and to celebrate he hosted a lavish bash at the River Cafe venue in New York City for guests including Jennifer Hudson and Joan Rivers, reports the New York Post.

Franklin, Keys and Warwick were also among the crowd, and when Sedaka stood up to give a surprise performance of his hits, he asked the power trio to join him for a rendition of Happy Birthday in honor of Davis.

A source tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, “Neil surprised Clive and… motioned to (Keys, Franklin and Warwick) to join him. Everyone stood up, and they sang along.”

Another insider adds, “Aretha looked like, ‘You gotta pay me a lot of money to sing.’” Source
