MEDINA COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -
A pilot crashed his plane in a housing development in Medina County around 1:30 p.m. on Blakeslee Boulevard off of Hamilton.
Authorities say 78-year-old Frank Bailey was flying a single engine plane. No passengers were on the plane.
Bailey managed to avoid all of the houses and landed the plane on a large, empty lot between homes.
He only suffered minor injuries to his head. He was conscious when homeowners talked to him.
Bailey told investigators his engine kept cutting out, but he had plenty of fuel.
The crash remains under investigation.
