It’s not often you something new at a basketball game, but it’s hard to remember the last time we saw a fan like Savannah McMillan-Christmas. During the Lakers-Nuggets NBA playoff game on May 6, 2012. Savannah McMillan-Christmas walked onto the court during the game. The young woman was subsequently arrested.

The incident occurred near the end of the game. Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson dribbling the ball when a woman walked onto the court and appeared to pick something off the ground. Security eventually grabbed her and took her off the court.

Police later charged Savannah McMillan-Christmas with trespassing.

Reporter Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports was all over the Savannah McMillan-Christmas story.

He tweeted that “arrested woman @denvernuggets game was Savannah McMillan-Christmas, 20, who came to game with mother and was cited for trespassing.”

He also said the woman might have a past.

“Sources tell @YahooSports say they believe the girl that ran on floor in Denver was the same one that stalked Kenyon Martin in his DEN days.”

“Sources also tell also tell @YahooSports the woman was screaming: “Where is Kenyon?” to @denvernuggets bench before running on floor.”

Who is Savannah McMillan-Christmas?

Not much is known about Savannah McMillan-Christmas. There is a Savannah McMillan-Christmas Facebook profile. We’re not sure if it’s the same person although the person in the profile claims to be from Colorado and attended high school in Denver.
