CLEVELAND – Saving money at the last minute for Mother’s Day is possible, and there are deals out there this weekend that allow you to save for future holidays as well.

Mother’s Day is Sunday, and there are still ways to save money while getting your mom a nice gift. Lowe’s is offering hanging flower baskets for $5.

Making a nice breakfast in bed for mom will be cheap too. In the Red Plum insert the last two weeks, there has a bacon coupon for 99 cents off. Joe the Coupon Guy says bring that to a store that doubles and you can save 50 percent on the bacon. Coupons are doubled at Giant Eagle, Buehlers, Dave’s Supermarket and sometimes K-Mart.

Joe the Coupon Guy likes Macy’s $10 off $25 purchase coupon. Also, if you go to Giant Eagle and buy a Macy’s gift card for your purchase you can save on fuel too. Giant Eagle is offering 20 cent Fuel Perks for every $50 you spend in gift cards. Stock up now for Father’s Day with a Home Depot or Lowe’s gift card because the fuel perk bonus ends May 16.

There are even ways to get free products this week including a free Good ‘n Natural Bar. If you don’t have the coupon from the recent insert, you might want to look online for an Internet coupon.

Barbecue season is just around the corner. Save-A-Lot is offering Kraft BBQ sauce for 77 cents. Look online for the Kraft coupon for $1 off two BBQ sauces. That will bring the price to just 27 cents a piece.
