The state of Florida never ceases to amaze. In a shocking turn of events, Marissa Alexander was sentenced to 20 years in prison (the maximum penalty) for firing a warning shot into a wall to scare off her alleged abusive husband. Please note that NO ONE was injured by the shot but yet the judge saw fit to send this woman to jail for 20 years!
Meanwhile in Florida, it took officials more than two months to decide whether or not they should even arrest George Zimmerman who shot and killed Trayvon Martin.
I ask you: Is this justice?
