CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

19 Action News has found Cleveland’s Horseshoe Casino is already tightening up security, and its only been open for three weeks.

A list of do’s and don’ts now greets gamblers when they walk into the front doors. A code of conduct just went up, and it comes with talk of new age limits, even a dress code.

If you talk to folks who’ve set foot in the new casino more than once, you’re bound to hear complaints about groups of young people hanging out in the crowd late at night. Many believe they’re loitering instead of gambling.

Some of the rules include no loitering; only paying customers at the buffet; and no inappropriate behavior including vandalism or running.

19 Action News has learned of discussions about a possible dress code too.

“Yesterday I saw a guy with his pants down to here. You know what? Come on,” said one Clevelander. “Pull your pants up. Be a lot more respectable. It will be fine.”

There’s no strict dress code yet but there are new guidelines like shoes, shirts, pants held at the waist — and hoods must be worn down.

There is also some talk of maybe raising the age limit at certain hours. 21 is the age limit now.
