(RNN) The wife of George Zimmerman, the man accused of shooting Florida teenager Trayvon Martin, was arrested for perjury Tuesday.
Shelly Zimmerman was expected to be released on bond.
Zimmerman testified during a bond hearing for her husband in April that the family was financially destitute and would not be able to afford his bail.
It was revealed later that Zimmerman had more than $204,000 in a PayPal account that was administered through the website TheRealGeorgeZimmerman.com and that there was still money coming in. There was another $700 in a separate account set up in Zimmerman’s name.
