CLEVELAND – Many communities are partnering with neighboring cities or combining firework displays with their community festivals this year. Some cities also offer additional entertainment before their fireworks show and/or on days surrounding July 4.

Here is a listing of when and where you can find fireworks shows in Northeast Ohio in 2012:

Akron – July 4, at Lock 3 at 9:45 p.m. immediately following the concert of the Akron Symphony Orchestra.

Alliance – July 4, at dusk at the Silver Park. Rain date is July 7.

Ashtabula – July 4, at 10:00 p.m. at Geneva-on-the-Lake.

Ashland – July 4, at dusk. at the high school stadium.

Aurora – July 4, at 9:45 p.m. at West Pioneer Trail ballfields.

Avon – The Lake Erie Crushers will be having post game fireworks at All Pro Freight Stadium. Parking will be available in the gravel lot and in the surrounding grass fields. Fireworks will go off about 10 minutes after the game.

Avon Lake – July 3, at dusk, Weiss Field.

Barberton – Sept. 3, Lake Anna Park, 10 p.m.

Bay Village – July 4, starting at 9:45 p.m., Cahoon Memorial Park.

Bedford – July 1, starting at dusk, Chanel High School.

Berea – July 4, starting at 10 p.m., Coe Lake.

Bratenahl – July 3, at dusk, Village Park.

Brecksville – June 30 at 10 p.m. There is a small display and then there is bigger display on July 1 at 10 p.m. Both are downtown Brecksville.

Brook Park – July 15, at 10 p.m., behind Ford Middle School.

Brunswick – July 3, at Brunswick High School when it’s dark. July 5 is rain date.

Canton – July 4, at dusk, Memorial Park, 800 McKinley Monument.

Cedar Point – July 4, at 10 p.m., Cedar Point.

Chagrin Falls – None.

Chardon – July 3, at 10 p.m., between Chardon high and middle schools.

Cleveland – July 4, at dusk. over Lake Erie.

Cleveland Heights – None

Conneaut – July 8, at 10:15 p.m. at Lake View Park

Cuyahoga Falls – None

Cuyahoga Heights– None

Dover– Labor Day fireworks at dusk.

Eastlake – July 4, at Classic Park (Captain’s Stadium), 10 p.m.

Elyria – None.

Euclid – None.

Fairlawn – July 1, Bicentennial Park on South Smith Road. Concert starts at 8 p.m., fireworks at 10 p.m.

Fairport Harbor – July 8 at dusk during Fairport Mardi Gras.

Garfield Heights – None.

Geneva-on-the-Lake – July 4 at 10 p.m. on the golf course.

Grafton – July 4 at dusk, Willow Park.

Green – June 23 at dusk, Boettler Park.

Hudson – July 3, at dusk, Barlow Farm Park.

Independence – July 3 at Elmwood Park starting at dusk.

Kent – CANCELED due to dry conditions.

Lakewood – July 4, at Lakewood Park, 9:45 p.m.

Lorain – July 4 at dusk, Black River Landing.

Macedonia – None.

Mantua – None.

Maple Heights – June 30, at dusk, Stafford Park.

Massillon – Canceled.

Mayfield Village – June 30, at dusk, corner of Wilson Mills and SOM Center Road.

Medina – July 3, at 9:45 p.m., Medina High School.

Mentor – July 4, at dusk, Civic Center Park located at 8500 Civic Center Blvd.

Middleburg Heights – June 23, at dusk, Southland. Part of Summer in the City Festival.

Midvale – July 3 (time TBD) at conclusion of racing ( Midvale Speedway).

New Philadelphia – July 7, at 10 p.m., Tuscora Park.

North Canton – July 4, at dusk, 7th Street around Memorial Stadium.

North Ridgeville – July 3, at dusk, Victory Park.

North Royalton – None.

Oberlin – July 4, Hamilton Recreation Complex, dusk. Rain date is July 6.
