As if the criticism of the 16-year-old Golden Child of the 2012 Olympics, Gabby Douglas’ hair wasn’t enough, Fox News is taking it upon themselves to report that super fly (pun intended) gymnastics darling isn’t patriotic enough.
According to Fox News, well at least David Webb of The David Webb Show thinks that the athletes representing the U.S. at the Olympics could use more patriotism. Webb honed in on Douglas, claiming the colors she and her teammates wear aren’t American enough.
“What’s wrong with showing pride? What we’re seeing is this kind of soft, anti-American feeling that Americans can’t show our exceptionalism,” Webb lamented.

Last time I checked, none of the athletes designed nor chose the colors that they’d get to wear during the games. So how is it that Webb could even blame one person on any U.S. team? *sigh* I just feel like now the media is searching for something to criticize the standout star of the 2012 Olympcs.
