CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

19 Action News has learned Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers will be enforcing a ban on large vehicles on the turnpike from 5 p.m. Monday to 10 a.m. Tuesday. This is due to the threat of dangerously high winds from Hurricane Sandy.

Large vehicles include: triple trailers, double trailers, anything longer than 90 feet, campers, mobile homes, wide loads and any horse or boat trailers pulled by a car or pick-up truck.

Wind and rain will be increasing in intensity with dangerous wind conditions Monday night through Tuesday morning. Wind gusts could be as high as 70-80 mph.
