CLEVELAND – To honor our veterans, area restaurants and businesses are offering those who serve or have served in the military free meals and other deals Veterans Day and beyond.

The first deal is for everyone — free admission to National Parks on Veterans Day weekend — Nov. 10 through Nov. 12.

Applebees: Veterans and active duty military members can eat free off a limited menu Sunday, Nov. 11. You must show proof of military service. Drinks and gratuity are not included. 

Golden Corral: free dinner to any person who has served in the U.S. military on Monday, Nov. 12 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. No ID required. Dine-in only.

Olive Garden: Veterans and active duty military get a free entree from a limited menu on Sunday, Nov. 11. You must show proof of military service.

Einstein Bros.: Military members get a free signature or classic bagel on Sunday, Nov. 11 from 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or while supplies last).

Horseshoe Casino Cleveland : Active and retired military will get complimentary meal at The Spread buffet. Guests must bring their military ID and Total Rewards card. Valid between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Champps Americana: Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free cheeseburger and fries on Monday, Nov. 12. You must show proof of service. Dine-in only.

Outback Steakhouse: Veterans and active duty military members can get a free Bloomin’ Onion and a drink on Sunday, Nov. 11 and Monday, Nov. 12.

California Pizza Kitchen: Veterans and active duty military get a free pizza and drink on Sunday, Nov. 11 and Monday, Nov. 12. Dine-in only. Must show proof of service.

AARP Driver Safety: Veterans, active duty and retired military service members can take any driver’s safety classroom course for free from Nov. 1 through Nov. 30. (Online classes are 50 percent off).

Veterans get free lunch at T.G.I. Friday’s on MONDAY, Nov. 12 from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. Military ID required.

Hooters is giving veterans and active duty military 10 free wings on SUNDAY, Nov. 11. Military ID or proof of service required. Call ahead and make sure your location is participating.

Krispy Kreme is giving veterans and active duty military a free doughnut and small coffee on SUNDAY, Nov. 11. No purchase or coupon necessary. You will need proof of service or wear your uniform.

Subway is not giving away free sandwiches this year. Instead, it’s donated $111,112 to the Wounded Warrior Project.
