Iyanla Vanzant is not afraid to tackle the tough issues on her OWN Network show, “Iyanla Fix My Life.” Most recently, she came face-to-face with Pastor Patrick Dennis a married father, who admits to having affairs with about 20 women and his wife, Natashia, who has had all she can take.
During the intense episode, Vanzant digs deep to uncover the hidden issues and as the cameras roll, the truth surfaces.
The two leaders of Bright Star Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana, for eight months, were living apart, but every Sunday at church, pretended to be happily married to keep up appearances.
But with Vanzant on the scene, pullng the covers back, there was nowhere to hide from the truth.
In one of the most compelling scenes from the episode, Vanzant helps broken First Lady Natashia understand a new definition of abuse, and discover how image and ego are keeping her tied to an unhealthy relationship.
