PARMA, Ohio – Officers with the Cuyahoga County Community College west campus issued an alert after an attempted abduction on campus.

According to police, around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, a man tried to abduct a female student located in the C parking lot.

Police describe the suspect as a white male in his early to late 20’s, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a heavy build, weighing 175 to 200 pounds. During the incident, the suspect was wearing a black jacket with a hoodie and blue jeans. He was last seen driving away from campus in a dark green, two-door car toward York Road.

Anyone with information on the attempted abduction is asked to call Tri-C West campus police at 216-987-4325.

Police have issued a campus community alert, urging all students and staff to be vigilant. Officers are asking everyone to report suspicious activity to campus police immediately and take extra safety precautions by walking in groups or using the campus police escort system by calling 216-987-4325
