It’s been almost two decades since Tichina Arnold and Martin Lawrence gave young black adults something to laugh about.
But it all came to a screeching halt after Tisha Campbell-Martin filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Lawrence.
Now the show is a rerun on Centric and can be bought on DVD if you look in the right places.
There was talk about breathing new life into the show with a reunion episode, but it might be totally out of the question if the two have to be in the same room together.
“We’ve all gone our separate ways, and we didn’t know ‘Martin’ would be as big as it was,” Tichina said on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live!”
“We didn’t know we were part of an iconic show,” she added. After “Martin,” Tichina starred in another hit sitcom, “Everybody Hates Chris.” However, she told Sister 2 Sister last year that Pam, her “Martin” character, is the one fans comment on the most. “I always get Pam. People always tell me I’m gonna always be Pam. That means I did my job right,” she said.
But as far as a reunion show, don’t count on it. Things still seem a little weird she explained. However, the cast members still communicate with one another on a friendly level.
