LOCAL: Visibility Worsens on Cleveland’s East Side on I-271 Corridor

ORANGE VILLAGE, Ohio – Traveling the I-271 corridor in Orange Village became an adventure Wednesday afternoon, when heavy snow covered roadways causing them to become slippery and icy.

Visibility slowed traffic dramatically as Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) crews did their best to keep up with the heavy snowfall.

Private snow removal drivers were also keeping busy as they cleared parking lots for businesses located on Orange Place alongside the highway.

At Bahama Breeze restaurant, customers were covered in snow by the time they reached their cars from the front door of the restaurant.
