2013 will be a big year of new projects coming online in downtown Cleveland.

It’s also an election year for the mayor and the first full year of the vitally important school transformation plan.

And the first big story of the year is likely to be the investigative findings on last November’s police chase and shooting of two possibly unarmed subjects.

What does Mayor Jackson expect the findings to show?

2012 was about the politics of selling the school transformation plan and getting voters to approve a school levy.

How will the Mayor keep all players focused to make sure its promises are delivered ?

Mayor Jackson will be running for his third term. Third terms have not been kind to some past Cleveland mayors. Is he worried about staying too long?

There are no strong challengers on the horizon. Does he believe the people of Cleveland should have a competitive mayor’s race?.

How does he think the Convention Center/Medical Mart, Flats East Bank and first new Innerbelt bridge will enhance the city and its economy and quality of life?
