EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio — Mayor Gary Norton on Wednesday night will hold a town meeting for residents concerned over the city’s recent police layoffs.
There, Norton says he’ll address the impact of city council’s decision to cut 25% in the police department budget.
Norton says he’ll field questions from the community, as well as discuss the projected safety of the city.
Police Chief Ralph Spotts will also be on hand to provide additional information about police operations.
Residents are encouraged to attend the 6:30 p.m. meeting, held at the Helen S. Brown Community Center on Euclid Avenue.
