The Cleveland Browns and pass-rushing linebacker Paul Kruger have reached an agreement on a five-year deal worth $40 million, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Kruger became the driving force in the Baltimore Ravens‘ pass rush last season, recording nine sacks during the regular season and 4.5 in the postseason, including two in the club’s Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
During the regular season, Kruger had 38 quarterback hurries — 15 more than anyone else on the Ravens. He also had 15 quarterback hits — five more than anyone on the Baltimore defense. read on
