Today, the White House jumped in on the April Fools’ Day fun by posting a comical video starring a 9-year-old commander-in-chief on the WH blog.
The Obama administration tweeted out the video, titled “A Special Message from the President.” However, instead of seeing President Obama, viewers were surprised to find YouTube sensation Kid President standing behind the briefing room podium.
Chris Brown Turns Down Oprah…
“It looks like you were expecting somebody else, but April Fools on all of y’all,” he said. “I’m Kid President and I hope everyone has an awesome day.”
The kid, played by Tennessee native Robbie Novak, also joined the First Family for the White House Easter Egg Roll. Novak is best known for his YouTube videos, where he channels his inner Barack Obama and makes mock presidential addresses.
On his website, Kid President said his YouTube series started by “the simple belief that kids have voices worth listening to.”
