On Thursday’s finale of “American Idol,” judge Mariah Carey delivered an … interesting performance (above).
The pop legend sang a medley of “Vision of Love,” “Make It Happen,” “My All,” “Hero,” “We Belong Together” and her new single “#Beautiful” for a crowd of excited fans. Mariah’s “Idol” performance was a highly-anticipated one, but it left something to be desired: Mariah barely moved in her tight-fitting feathered gown and viewers speculated that she had been lip-synching.
But according to her reps, Mariah’s “Idol” performance was live.
“ET can set the record straight as Mariah’s reps tell us she absolutely sang the entire medley … completely live! Not only that, but we hear she delighted the crowd in between live shots by singing additional hits,” Entertainment Tonight reported.
