CLEVELAND – A well-known Hollywood actor in Cleveland for the filming of the next Marvel movie is taking his experiences to social media.
Samuel L. Jackson ( @SamuelLJackson ) has been filming part of a chase/police shooting scene on East 6th Street in downtown Cleveland all week. He plays the role of Nick Fury in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”
On Tuesday, Jackson tweeted out a photo showing him with Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson to his more than 2.4 million followers. It had this caption: “The Jackson’s puttin’ it Down in Cleveland!# da Mayor!!”
Then on Thursday, he tweeted out a photo of the sign of a now-closed restaurant on Canal Road in Valley View called Redneck Rendezvous & BBQ.
He wrote: “Found the answer to # Darkie Cafe in Cleveland! pic.twitter.com/ r5KFzrjnlb ”
