CLEVELAND – Two men are in serious condition after they were shot early Friday morning at a bar called Winston’s Place located on E.131st Street and Miles Avenue.

Cleveland police said that homicide detectives are at the scene to investigate the use of deadly force by their officers. However, no deaths have been reported as of yet.

According to EMS, both people were transported to MetroHealth Medical Center in serious condition. One man suffered a gun shot wound to the leg. The other suffered multiple gun shot wounds.

Cleveland police said they were at the scene as shots rang out from the bar.

Witnesses at the scene tell NewsChannel5 that a man was kicked out of the bar, then came back with a weapon and shot a bouncer, as well as another person inside. They said the suspect allegedly shot once at police and was then shot at multiple times by officers.

Our crew at the scene said there are more than 40 shell casings on the ground.

Cleveland police and detectives are still at the scene investigating.
