CLEVELAND – Family members returned to Ariel Castro’s home on Monday collecting personal items named in Castro’s plea deal.

Ariel’s son Anthony Castro arrived to Seymour Avenue home late Monday morning flanked by his father’s attorney Craig Weintraub.

During sentencing, Judge Michael Russo determined clothing and other assorted items would be distributed amongst family members.

More than $22,000 found in a washing machine inside the home will be used to tear down the home and two other neighboring properties.

The remainder of the cash will go toward the city’s use of the property at a later time.
