Thanks to years of outstanding leadership in the industry, Oprah Winfrey will receive the Hollywood Reporter’s “Sherry Lansing Leadership Award.”
The ceremony will take place on December 11th this year during the 22nd Annual Women in Entertainment Breakfast at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Oprah will have her award presented by Maria Shriver.
“Oprah is an inspiration to us all,” said HR’s editorial director Janice Min. “She has wielded her tremendous influence to empower women both here in Hollywood and around the world and motivated countless individuals to contribute to causes that better their communities. She is the embodiment of this award.”
