Eddie Murphy is set to reunite with Arsenio Hall on his new talk show come November 19. The pair made audiences double over in laughter in the late 80s with the films, Coming to America and Harlem Nights and now they have more business to discuss.

Back in the early 90s when the original Arsenio Hall Show was a hot commodity, Murphy was no stranger, appearing six times for various reasons. It was also rumored that two old friends had a falling out at the beginning of the year, but it seems to be water under the bridge at this point.

Reports the AP:

The host said in a statement: “The questions I have been asked more times than any others since announcing I would be coming back to late night are ‘Will Eddie be a guest?’ and ‘When is Eddie stopping by?’ The answers are ‘yes’ and ‘November 19.’ I can’t wait to get one of my best friends back on the couch and maybe he’ll even sing a little reggae for us.”

You read that right. Eddie Murphy is pushing his music career once again which dates back to the mid-80s. Highlighted by the single “Party All the Time,” it also featured funk legend, Rick James. He’s finishing up his new album, 9 which is slated for a 2014 release.

Hit the flip to hear Murphy’s latest single, Promise “You Won’t Break My Heart” which he is likely to perform during his appearance on Arsenio. And as additional bonus, watch RZA’s recent appearance where he aired out Raekwon even further over the group’s next album.

Do you plan on tuning in?
