Sheila M. Wright grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. She has worked in the public sector most of her professional life. Ms. Wright worked for the City of Cleveland Prosecutor’s Office, Cleveland City Council and Cleveland Municipal Court. Working in these roles Ms. Wright served directly under various elected officials. She has also served on several non-profit boards including serving as President of the 11th Congressional District Caucus under Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge. Ms. Wright has recently joined the board of Global Cleveland. Ms. Wright earned a law degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law and is currently completing her Executive MBA from Case Western Reserve University. Today Ms. Wright serves as the Executive Director for the Cleveland Branch of the NAACP. Besides her two daughters, Ms. Wright’s current passions include achieving economic equity in Cleveland as well as professional and personal leadership development. Ms. Wright resides in Cleveland, Ohio with her two beautiful daughters, Leslie and Corbyn.
