They are called “Chick Flicks”, those romantic comedies, and now a new study by the University of Rochester finds those movies may actually have a valuable role in a couple’s relationship.
The study found that watching a romantic comedy or date movie with your significant other can actually strengthen your own relationship.
According to the New York Times, the study found couples who watched these types of movies together were less likely to get a divorce or separate.
