The Layoffs Continue in East Cleveland

EAST CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
A total of 12 people have been laid off in East Cleveland this month. That includes two police officers and a captain in the fire department.
A third police officer has resigned, bringing the total number of officers patrolling the city to 46.
Mayor Gary Norton says all these cuts will save the city $1 million.
