*Fox News hosts Megyn Kelly and Gregg Jarrett targeted Don Lemon on Monday for expressing outrage that Michael Dunn was not convicted of first degree murder.

Lemon had said that he was “pissed off” that Dunn — who killed 17-year-old Jordan Davis when he shot at a group of teenagers in a car after an argument about loud music — was not convicted on charges of first degree murder.

Kelly and Jarrett did not mention Lemon by name on Monday, but referred to Jarrett’s testy Twitter exchange with Lemon over the issue. As previously reported, Jarrett tweeted that Lemon lacked “some measure of objectivity as an anchor” and criticized the CNN host for taking the verdict “personally,” while Lemon tweeted back, “Mind ur business, old man.”

“This is an anchor who set aside all measure of objectivity, and he acted, on-air, as judge, jury and executioner,” Jarrett claimed on air Monday. “Condemning the defendant, saying he was guilty, and it was an open-and-shut case. My goodness.”

Kelly later said, “The danger in doing that is, it could stoke the fires and lead other people to believe that they, too, should be outraged. And then, the situation can escalate.”

Earlier in the day, Jarrett had also called Lemon “the Al Sharpton of CNN.”

Lemon hit back on Monday, saying, “You see old white guys trying to claw their way back from obscurity by attacking other people who speak out against this particular case.”
