‘American Idol’ judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. arriving for tonight’s show in West Hollywood, California on March 12, 2014

*Diddy’s attempt to purchase Fuse TV is now being challenged by his ex girlfriend.

Days after joking she would let the mogul drown if she saw him struggling in the ocean, Jennifer Lopez-backed cable channel NuvoTV has made a offer to buy Madison Square Garden Co’s Fuse TV for more than $200 million in cash and stock, Bloomberg reported, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

As Bloomberg previously reported, Sean “Diddy” Combs also made a bid of about $200 million for Fuse earlier this week, looking to merge it with his Comcast Corp-backed music cable network Revolt TV in an attempt to gain wider distribution and higher subscriber fees.

Fuse, reaches about 74 million homes through pay-TV systems including DirecTV and Dish Network Corp.
