(WOIO) –
An Ohio federal judge announced Friday he intends to issue a written order by April 14, striking down Ohio’s ban on recognizing legal gay marriages.
Judge Timothy Black says the ban is unconstitutional.
This does not mean Ohio will allow gay marriages, but the state would have to recognize marriages of gay couples who legally wed elsewhere.
