PARMA, Ohio – The power of prayer and community collaboration has paid off for a Parma non-profit group committed to empowering lives and strengthening families.
Since December 2011, Community Ambassadors had been serving free lunches every Saturday to the community at their Pay It Forward Cafe at Parmatown Mall.
Due to the redevelopment of the mall into The Shoppes at Parma, the section of the mall where the Cafe was located was slated for demolition.
With time winding down, New Life Fellowship in Parma offered Community Ambassadors space at their church. Pay It Forward Cafe never skipped a beat. The first free Saturday lunch was held at the new location April 5.
