CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –
The following statement was released by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals U.S. Attorney on April 30, 2014, regarding Jimmy Dimora and Michael Gabor’s convictions and sentencing.
“This opinion confirms that Dimora and Gabor received fair trials, and the jury’s verdict was supported by overwhelming evidence of their greed and corruption.”
The former Cuyahoga County Commissioner is currently serving a 28 year prison sentence for numerous corruption charges.
In March 2014 the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals heard arguments on in the appeal filed on behalf of former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora.
