MANSFIELD, OH (WOIO) –
A federal lawsuit has been filed alleging police brutality–by K9.
Attorney David Malik says a man was mauled by a police dog even after surrendering. The suit says the incident happened in Mansfield in 2012.
Police were searching for a robbery suspect. The man attacked was not involved in the robbery, but he was wanted on other warrants.
