Tonight at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the Cavaliers will do what has become routine in recent years: They will make the first pick in the NBA draft.

This is not a broken record; it just seems like it. Cleveland has the top pick for the third time in the past four years. They keep winning the draft lottery but can’t seem to win anything on the court to stay out of the lottery.

In 2011, they selected Kyrie Irving of Duke University first overall.  The next season they had the 4th pick and selected Dion Waiter of Syracuse. In 2013, the top choice netted Anthony Bennett, who struggled his rookie year.

This year, it appears to be a two-horse race.  Jabari Parker, who played one season with the Duke Blue Devils could be the selection, or it could be Kansas Jayhawk Andrew Wiggins.
