This weekend we celebrated the life of Gerald Levert through health, education and song. The Celebration started in The Quiet Storm with Kym Sellers Friday night @7p, then continued on to a health fair that included emcee Fox8 news Jennifer Jordan. The Health fair panel speakers were our very own Kym Sellers and Paul Anthony of Full Force, who both shared their stories of fighting their own health through medical and spiritual Warfare. The evening closed with a concert at the State Theatre with people of the entertainment world that were near and dear to Gerald. Hosted by Kym Whitley the performances included Miki Howard, Sherena Wynn (Quiet Storm song soloist), Men At Large (Dave Tolliver and Jason Champion), The Rude Boys, Levert II, Full Force, Tiffany Williams (gospel artist, niece of Howard Hewitt), Clevelands own Hubb’s Groove, comedian Redd Grant and CAMEO. Special introductions by the legendary Lynn Tolliver and host of The Quiet Storm Kym Sellers. What a way to show up, show off and show out the love Cleveland has for the Levert Family as we continue to celebrate the life.
